What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wood Worker position at Fluid Motion, LLC?
Fluid Motion, LLC - Manufacturer of Cutwater Boats and Ranger Tugs - is looking to expand its Wood Shop operations our Arlington facility.
Summary: Constructs and repairs finished woodwork and structural carpentry for marine application by performing the following duties.
Pay: $17-$19
Hours: Monday-Friday 6AM-2:30PM
Job Duties:
- Builds and repairs, cabinets, benches, partitions, floors, and trim.
- Replaces damaged wall coverings.
- Builds cabinets and other wooden equipment in carpenter shop
- Other duties when needed
Ideal Knowledge/Skills:
- Air powered saws
- Grinders
- Table Saw
- Traditional woodworking tools
- woodworking and basic assembly
- Finishing experience is a plus!
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular and consistent basis.
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, climb, balance and reach for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for the entire duration of shift.
- Ability to keep up with fast pace environments.
- Ability to use hands for the duration of the shift
