About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Clerk to join our team at our Main Office location. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that all products are properly stored and accounted for. You will work closely with our Warehouse Management Systems to ensure that all products are properly labeled and tracked. Your attention to detail and ability to read and interpret documents will be essential in this role. You will also be responsible for operating material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, to move products throughout the warehouse. Your ability to calculate figures and amounts will be crucial in ensuring that inventory levels are accurate. Ultimately, your work will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a warehouse or inventory management role
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Familiarity with bar code scanning technology
- Ability to divide in all units of measure
- Ability to read, write, count, sort, type, use a computer, navigate shipping websites such as UPS and FedEx.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or inventory setting preferred
- Ability to obtain and renew internal forklift and overhead crane licenses.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems
- Familiarity with inventory procedure manuals
- Experience operating material handling equipment
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, walk, lift, carry, kneel, and crouch.
- Regularly required to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally required to lift 60-100 pounds.
- Must be able to pass an eye exam for close vision with or without corrective lenses.
- Work environment regularly exposes employee to a moderate noise level (machinery, hi-lo, cranes, air hose).
- Work environment occasionally exposes employee to vapors and extreme weather conditions (hot/cold).
Responsibilities:
- Completing inventory transactions using component parts and transferring material locations.
- Pull parts from inventory to fill sales orders.
- Ability to accurately enter data into computer for all transactions.
- Ability to count accurately and match picks list items to part number labels.
- Package parts orders.
- Must be able to ship orders using UPS or FedEx shipping systems.
- Identify and return to the proper location material not used for jobs or incoming receipts.
- Stores material in such manner as to prevent damage or deterioration.
- Performing cycle counts on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Registers quantity of parts on scrap sheets and work orders.
- Keeps work area clean and orderly.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Skills:
