Fluor Engineering NV in Antwerp is looking for a HSE Engineer
The HSE engineer works in a multidisciplinary team on assignments for the (petro-) chemical industry. The assignments vary from basic engineering to detailed engineering assignments.- Planning and organizing the work and carry out tasks from management staff, meeting deadlines
- Organize and prioritize variety of projects and tasks in an effective and timely manner
- Establish HSE design / performance criteria and specifications for execution of work
- Prepare design HSE deliverables
- Facilitate HSE studies and -assessments (HAZID, Hazop,...)
- Provide recommendations to Projects and Clients about regulatory requirements
- Monitor implementation of design HSE requirements
- Working together with the clients, governing authorities and other disciplines within a project
- Promote and foster Company HSE policies and standards
- Effectively develop and apply core skills to the job
- Function can be easily combined with a Process Engineering role- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar function or with a contractor of a production plant in the (petro-) chemical industry
- a Master degree (preferable in Chemical Engineering)
- candidates shall be fluent in both English and Dutch
- Strong interpersonal, reporting and organizational skills.
- Intermediate computer and software skills (DNV PHAST, Pipenet, etc)
