Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Place product orders based on the direction provided from the Tire Purchasing Manager
- Support the records in inventory master files for stock keeping unit updates and additions
- Interface with selling locations to schedule physical inventories
- Coordinate physical inventories by assigning counting equipment, preparing the accounting system to receive and load counts, and help to reconcile count variances
- Prepare and distribute reports on a defined schedule
- Inventory and pricing data entry into variance POS and accounting software packages
- Support the movement of inventory between warehouses and retail stores
Education and Experience
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures
- Knowledge of relevant software applications, especially Excel
- Proficient in data entry and management
- 1-3 years general accounting experience
