ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to
- Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas
- Marks materials with identifying information
- Creates packing slips for customer shipments
- Verifies accuracy of international shipments
- Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed
- Prepares parcels for mailing
- Understands packaging specs for customer shipments
- Verify the information on orders, bills, receipts, etc. is correct
- Maintain department records and draft computer generated reports as needed
- Issue purchase orders for Out-Process work orders to subcontractors using the information provided on job
- Confirm purchase orders and delivery dates
- Track and status parts within assigned product line, as they move through various departments
- Interact cross-functionally to obtain current status and priority of parts waiting to be processed or moved
- Participate in production meetings and assist with necessary administrative functions
- Comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, Company policy and accepted
- Other duties as required and assigned
- Forklift certified required
- 5-7 years of experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated computer skills with proficiency using MS Office
- Ability to work with Finance on invoicing receipts and problem solving
- Experience using and ERP/MRP system (Vantage highly desired)
