SUMMARY:
FNA Group is a world class manufacturer of pressure washers and other outdoor power equipment. We have a challenging Product Manager position open that reports to the VP of Marketing. The ideal Product Manager candidate will be a motivated, organized, self-starter and have a passion for outdoor power equipment. The Product Manager will manage several categories and be adept in launching products from conception to production.
Primary Purpose:
Work closely with our engineering, supply chain, sales, marketing, and technical service teams on a variety of tasks designed to bring new products to market. Effectively manage and communicate the strategic category plan and annual planning horizons to cross-functional teams. Work with internal sourcing team and third-party vendors to ensure a competitive cost, high quality and timely completion of projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with key Marketing, Supply Chain and Engineering resources focused on creating, qualifying and positioning products to be sold to consumer retail, internet, independent dealers, rental, and industrial channels of distribution.
- Conduct on-going product category research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and positioning for both current products and future product offerings.
- Understand the competitive landscape, including pricing, products, strategies, suppliers, and product merchandising.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives and timely completion of projects.
- Write effective product copy and specifications to be used throughout our sales and marketing collateral.
- Track projects and maintain accuracy of project tracker.
- Present confidently and passionately in a variety of meeting and presentation settings.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of product management experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft suite of products to include PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills; in person, on the phone, in writing, and on video calls.
- Detail oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy; ability to multitask.
- A solid understanding of the e-commerce, retail, and industrial buying environments.
- Experience within the outdoor power equipment or power tool industry is a plus.
- Bilingual communication skills in Spanish and English is a plus.
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree preferred, but will also consider combination of education and experience.
