We are currently looking for a flexible and dedicated person to provide support and guidance to an individual with disabilities located in Golden Valley.
Position, Hours and Wage:
- Part-Time (15 or 16 hrs/wk) or Full-Time (31 hrs/wk) available
- Monday and Tuesday 2:00PM-10:00PM
- Monday through Friday 7:00AM-10:00AM
- $18.00/hour
Job Duties:
- Encouraging personal safety, modeling appropriate behaviors, supporting a person in completing daily routines and teaching life skills;
- Assisting individual to achieve and exceed their personal goals;
- Providing structure and emotional support;
- Assisting in the facilitation of resolving behavioral issues;
- Assisting individual with personal hygiene;
- Managing and dispensing medication;
- Completing detailed, accurate documentation as assigned;
- Other duties specific to individual served.
Requirements:
- Related experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- MN DHS background clearance
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance (*no exceptions)
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, verbally and written
