Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN to care for patients who are waking up from anesthesia after surgery.

Requirements:
- Motivated candidates who are looking for career growth
- AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
- BSN from accredited nursing program, and proper licensure
- Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients, and families

Responsibilities:
- Monitor patient vital signs as they wake from anesthesia
- Treat pain, nausea, and other patient post-op symptoms and any side effects of anesthesia
- Comfort patients as they wake up after surgery
- Work with an interdisciplinary medical team
- Document and keep the team informed of the patient’s progress
- Educate the patient and family on post-surgery care
- All other responsibilities as needed
