What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director position at Focus Tech?
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manages and guides the Focus Tech team in identifying growth opportunities, acting as a bridge between technology, sales, and operations to drive customer focused solutions.
- Oversees and directs technical initiatives, engineering projects, and customer support programs to ensure timely, high-quality delivery and technical support training.
- Participates and leads key customer meetings to provide general technical insights and promote Focus Tech solutions.
- Develops executive summaries on existing technology provided and future technology needed ensuring technical alignment supports sales across all regions.
- Manages the needs of customers in order to meet the objectives of the company’s overall business plan and strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 - 15 years' experience of business development, marketing and or sales in electronics or chemistry.
- Experience making or selling products or services in a start-up or early-stage environment.
- Minimum 8 years in a leadership role within the sales & distribution environment.

The pay range for this position is between $165,000 - $195,000 per year depending upon experience and qualifications.
