Full Stack Developer

FocusKPI, Inc. is looking for a Full stack Developer to work for our client. This is a full-time contract position.

Work Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months contract with potential for extension/conversion

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop messaging & targeting data platforms using the latest front and backend technologies
• Running and supporting software in production
• Participate in all aspects of the project life-cycle, from ideation to specification to release
• Collect all user behaviors on client websites, which will be used for analytics
• Building audience management, targeting and personalization capabilities to empower teams to deliver product and marketing customer experience with speed and quality.

Qualifications:

• 7 years of experience in designing and building a production-level data or web application
• Experience in building frontend and backend web applications from the ground up using modern technologies – from gathering requirements, design, build, deploy, and ownership
• Extensive experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, Rest APIs, AWS, Docker, SQL, Microservices
• Front-end development experience with expert knowledge of technologies like HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, ReactJS, Angular, etc.
• Experience working with data management and MarTech platforms
• Experience with stake-holder management
• Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Strong quality mindset and proven experience with testing practices and philosophy
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently in a remote first environment
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g. Git, Maven, Gradle, Bamboo, Jenkins)
• Ability to explain and present details to both technical and business audiences
• Proven ability to drive cross-team technical discussions and decision making

Education/ Experience:

• Bachelors in computer engineering or other relevant field
• 5-7 years related experience required
