Foertsch Group –Safety Director
Job Responsibilities:
- Safety Program
- Periodic updates to written plans & programs
- Make job site visits and safety inspections
- Oversee Safety Meetings
- Personnel Training
- Schedule & maintain records on required training.
- Assist with customer prequalification and safety vetting programs
- Input safety & business information into customer/government vetting websites.
- Assist with OSHA, MSHA, etc. reporting
Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel and navigation of websites.
Must have or be willing to obtain OSHA 30 and HAZWOPER training.
Ability to climb ladders, navigate barge catwalks and steep embankments.
Have and maintain clean driving record – subject to FG insurance approval.
Office/Field work typically 50/50.
