JOB DESCRIPTION:
Fogg Filler is seeking a talented Metal Finisher to polish, buff, and crate Fogg parts assemblies and equipment in a timely manner maintaining a smooth flow of parts and products from production to crating for delivery to customer. To assist in various job assignments throughout the production facility as directed by Buffing Manager. Responsibilities include:
- Performs various polishing, buffing, deburring, painting, sandblasting, cleaning and acid washing of parts and/or products utilizing necessary tools and equipment. Ensures product consistency per engineering blueprints and quality specifications, as provided or instructed.
- Assists crater when necessary to crate parts and equipment for shipment to customers per Fogg packaging standards.
- Route parts to other departments in the factory as necessary.
- Ensures and maintains safety and cleanliness of work area by performing housekeeping duties daily.
- Provides verbal/written feedback to appropriate member regarding engineering, manufacturing and/or routing problems with parts and/or equipment.
- Performs and cross trains on various positions as required.
- When QC Department requires additional assistance due to production demands, you will be required to help in that department.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- On the job training provided.
- Must have good manual dexterity and the ability to communicate with coworkers.
