We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our remote accounting team. If you are interested in growing as an accounting professional and working with a great team, we want to hear from you. This position will report to the Accounts Payable Manager. Eligible candidates must reside in one of the states where we have an office (CA, CO, FL, IL, IN, KS, LA, MI, MN, MO, NY).
Job responsibilities include:
- Enter vendor invoices and/or review for accuracy and submit for payment
- Review and approve employee and credit card expenses
- Communicate with attorneys and staff in offices nationwide, both verbally and through email regarding payables discrepancies
- Back up to accounts payable team members
- Various accounts payable projects as requested
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications • Experience with Microsoft Office • Strong work ethic and team player • Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material and information • Strong communication skills • Accounting coursework or related experience preferred
