Accounting Manager

Provides status of financial condition, results of operations and cash flows by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data on a monthly and ad hoc basis; Monitors and assists Controller with enforcing policies and procedures; Protects assets by assisting Controller with establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls; Assists Controller by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors, for both book audits and the NHL required audits of Hockey-Related Revenue (HRR) and the Uniform Report of Operations (URO); Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; Assists Controller with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, advising management on needed actions; Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results; Maintains financial staff by assisting the Controller with recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; Performs other related duties on an ad hoc basis as directed; and Other duties as assigned from time to time.
