Summary
We want customers, vendors, collaborators, media, and any one that touches the Folktale brand to feel our culture of joy. We are looking for joyful people to be the expert on our wines and tell the story of each bottle! Come share joy, come join the Folktale Family! $16.00/hr base, $35-$50 / hour when including tips. Plus weekly commissions for WIne Club sign-ups.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain in-depth knowledge about the wines, the vineyards, the brands, and the winery
- Provide exceptional service to all guests
- Strong sales skills to maximize Wine Club sign ups.
- Accurately handle routine purchasing transactions, which include operating POS system with daily sales
- Complete daily side work
- Know the menu and ingredients in every dish, continue to study menu descriptors and stay up to date on product knowledge
- Serve & conduct tasting flight experiences
- Responsible for keeping a clean work environment which will include the proper disposal of trash and breaking down of recyclable materials
- Check sections and clean and buff silverware and glass
- Daily engagement in Wine Club procedures, such as sign ups, member guest service, quarterly wine club allocations, personalized retention projects, and wine shipments
- During service, maintain guest relations by continuing to service table with refilled beverages and delivering food
- Engage on Paylocity, the company's human resources platform
- Able to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the busser or host

Requirements
- 1 year serving or relevant hospitality experience
- Passion to sell, sell, sell!
- Excellent customer service
- Passion or interest in learning about wine
- Must be 21 or older
- Food Handler & Beverage Certifications
