Responsibilities
Responsible for providing courteous and competent services to ensure guests are roomed in the hotel efficiently and without incident; transporting luggage and other items; and escorting guests to and from their assigned rooms.
Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following: 1. Transport luggage and escort guests to and from their assigned rooms and other areas of the hotel.2. Run errands (i.e., newspapers, faxes, laundry, packages, flowers, etc.) and communicate messages when necessary.3. Store and retrieve guest luggage.4. Anticipate guest needs and resolve guest problems within scope of authority, otherwise referring guest to Bell Captain.5. Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and guests.
- Flexible schedule availability.
- Bilingual highly desireable.
- One year experience as a Bell Person at a major hotel preferred.
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
