We are seeking an individual to join our Inside Sales Team.Position SummaryTo promote and maintain the best possible relationship with new and existing customers. Acts as liaison between customer, salesforce and plant personnel. Continuous improvement of processes and products are an on-going function of the position.Position Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Responsible for handling all communication with customers and sales personnel. Also responsible for responding to customer inquiries, routing and scheduling of regular and special orders, specifications, pricing, shipping dates, and other similar matters.Maintains an excellent rapport with customers, including timely and accurate information processing, both in and out.Communicates to supervisor any significant changes and developments in customer and sales relations for evaluation and action where necessary to meet sales goals and objectives.Coordinates contact between the customer and Engineering on all new items received that require approval of any exceptions to the customer print.Ensures lead time given to customer is current with plant lead-time or obtains approval for any deviationVerifies information in sales order acknowledgement, ensuring all information entered (delivery date data, quantity, etc) is correct.Process customer purchase orders in accordance with contract review procedures ensuring accuracy of contract pricing, delivery terms and payment conditions.Prepares required reports on any special parts where quantities have changed from initial forecast; alerts Production Control of decrease or increase.Communicates with customer base and sales personnel regarding purchase order issues for resolution to issues preventing processing of purchase orders.Accurate data entryKeeps abreast of customer needs and contacts customer in case of any potential delays.Follows through with the order to ensure timely delivery.Other duties as assignedQualifications-Education/Experience Required:• At least 1-to 3 year’s experience in a customer service role• College degree-Bachelor's• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Positive human relations skills• Strong customer service aptitude• Previous customer service related experiencePreferred:• Knowledge of aerospace fastener industry• ERP use; QAD preferred
