Are you a fresh creative thinker with a passion for design in all media? We're seeking a Visual Designer who loves turning ideas into compelling visual designs for Food For Thought's websites, social media, emails, and various communication channels.
You'll collaborate with a dynamic creative team, working on projects that span digital and physical realms. If you're a true talent at concepting, have a keen eye for design, and can manage timelines while ensuring top-notch quality, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the Director of Marketing & Creative on brand management and multi-discipline brand marketing deliverables.
- Shifting seamlessly between long-term projects, short-term requests, and last-minute challenges.
- Leading by example, working closely with different departments to creatively solve problems.
- Safeguarding the integrity of design and brand image through graphic design and collaboration with department leadership.
- Driving strategic brainstorming sessions and creative execution that exceeds project objectives.
- Presenting and selling creative ideas to various stakeholders.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing managers, copywriters, designers, and developers.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of professional experience in design or a creative field (agency experience is a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Solid knowledge of marketing, brand, and design principles.
- Strong conceptual and design skills showcased in your portfolio.
- Ability to scale ideas based on available resources.
- Out-of-the-box resourcefulness and quick creative thinking.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the digital marketing industry; restaurant, food, and event industry experience are a plus.
- Ability to thrive and remain even-tempered when faced with a fast-paced environment.
- Team player, ready and willing to assist in departmental projects and emergencies.
