What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Coordinator position at Foodmate?
As a QA/QC Technician at Foodmate US, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our poultry processing equipment. This position is responsible for performing final assurance checks on incoming and outgoing parts, identifying and documenting defects, and supporting continuous improvement efforts across the production and service lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and returning parts to verify compliance with Foodmate’s quality standards.
- Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, etc. to obtain material and dimensional information with minimal supervision
- Perform QA checks on upgrades, emergency parts, and field-returned parts.
- Document inspection results and communicate findings to the Warehouse Manager and relevant departments.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Service, and Operations teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Manage inventory cycle count program and generate daily cycle count reports
- Audit, investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Administer the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process for parts
- Support facility maintenance and safety compliance as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Assisting with the on-call rotation as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in quality control, mechanical inspection, or equipment testing—preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems, tools, and QA methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical documentation and procedures.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in the poultry processing or food equipment industry.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and QA documentation tools.
- OSHA safety training or equivalent certifications.
