We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities :
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by taking medical histories, measuring vital signs, and documenting information in the electronic medical records system
- Assist physicians during exams and procedures
- Perform X-rays as ordered by physicians
- Dispensing durable medical equipment including instructing patients on proper use of items and completing appropriate paperwork
- Collect and prepare lab specimens for transport and maintain proper documentation
- Handle patient inquiries, providing education on treatment plans and instructions, including entering proper documentation
- Sterilize all equipment according to guidelines and cleaning treatment rooms to maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Ordering and stocking inventory as necessary
