SUMMARY
Technicians will be held to a high standard of service. Technicians are required to service commercial beverage equipment such as coffee brewers, coffee grinders, espresso machines, ice tea machines, etc... Individuals in this role are provided with: a vehicle, uniforms, tools, cell phone, and gas card. Benefits provided are sick time off, paid vacation leave, medical insurance available, and 401K.
REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive dispatched service calls as assigned and ensure prompt response based on estimated time of arrival (ETA).
- Troubleshoot or diagnose equipment malfunctions utilizing standard electrical test equipment such as volt/ohm meters to identify and implement corrective action and perform preventative maintenance. Check calibration and ensure machine is clean.
- Maintain inventory and maintenance on equipment such as: parts and tools
- Review service orders and service performed with your supervisor. Must keep managers informed of customer concerns, and needs.
- Document all work performed and close out all activities upon completion.
- In some locations, the Service Technician will be responsible for machine movement and various other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to work overtime when needed.

- Mechanical aptitude.

- Must be self-starter and be able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Will consider any candidate with mechanical aptitude. In-house and factory training will be provided on various equipment.
- Graduate of Technical or Vocational School a plus.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record a must.
- Ability to lift 55 lbs or more on a regular basis. Occasional lifting in excess of 70 lbs required.
- Ability to drive more than 40% of the time.
- Ability to pass a Background Check.
- Must have non-skid (slip resistant) shoes .
