Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Agronomist to join our team. This role involves leveraging expertise in agricultural products and solutions to develop new business opportunities, manage client accounts, and expand our presence within the agricultural sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong outside sales skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. As a Sales Agronomist, you will play a key role in driving growth through strategic territory management, product demonstrations, and effective customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets within assigned territory.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts through exceptional customer service and tailored solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities via lead generation, cold calling, and networking within the agricultural industry.
  • Conduct product demos and technical presentations to educate clients on product benefits and applications. ( Put in Corn/ Soybean/ Winter Wheat Plots, Soil Sampling, Provide crop scouting, herbicide/fungicide and insecticide and fertilizer recommendations and delivering product to customers).
  • Provide technical support and advice on product usage, crop management strategies, and best practices.
  • Support management in developing strategies for territory expansion and customer retention.

Experience

  • Demonstrated success in lead generation, cold calling, and direct sales efforts.
  • Excellent negotiation skills coupled with strong analysis skills to identify customer needs and upsell opportunities.
  • Experience with herbicide, fungicide, insecticide and fertilizer.
  • Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and territory sales strategies is highly desirable.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
