What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Analyst position at FORD COMPONENT SALES?
Ford Component Sales, LLC (FCS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company aligned with the Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD). We are a flexible sales organization that directs resources toward revenue opportunities identified by FCSD.
We are in search of an Accounting Analyst that records, disperses, compiles, and processes numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records. On a contract basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Enters miscellaneous cash and Ford cash receipts and updates accounts receivable ledger by customer
- Processes Intercompany Ford payables
- Processes charge backs, return of NSF checks and claims
- Computes and records charges and refunds relating from claims for duplicate billing, freight charges, over/under shipments, etc.
- Processes miscellaneous billings for customers and suppliers
- Audits Travel Expense Reports from employees
- Prepares and enters various journal entries
- Prepares account reconciliations
- Completes MCRP as assigned
- Other duties may be assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
