Community Outreach & Enrollment Specialist

Fordland Clinic in Fordland, MO is looking for a full-time Community Outreach & Enrollment Specialist to join our team.  This person would work with patients of Fordland Clinic to help them enroll in different insurance coverage plans and reach out to patients who need care.  This position would also include community involvement by attending different community support functions to represent Fordland Clinic. 

Role Overview

Implement community outreach, fundraising events, marketing, communication, and fund development strategies. The Community Outreach & Enrollment Specialist should portray a positive image of Fordland Clinic while establishing community awareness and support of clinic services and projects. 

Work hours: Full-time, hourly position. In order to maintain full-time status, a minimum of 30 hours per week on average are required, though 40 hours a week will be expected for this position. Clinic hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday, and 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday. Some Saturdays and after business hours work may be required.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree or experience with health insurance marketplace or Medicaid applications preferred. 
• OR Associate's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field considered with at least two years' experience preferred.

• This role must comply with all applicable federal and state training program requirements related to the development of expertise in eligibility, enrollment, and program specifications.
