Forest Highlands is preparing for its 2023 Season, if you love the outdoors and hard work, we want you. We will be ramping up to our busy season from the middle of March and going through the Summer and Fall.
In this position you can expect to complete an array of duties and tasks. Some popular functions of this position are: (this is not an all-inclusive list)
- Weed Whacking
- Yard Clean Up
- Deck Blowing/Washing/Furniture Moving
- Flower Bed Construction
- Planting of shrubs and trees
- Irrigation line repair and install
- Rake, mulch and prune throughout yards
Equipment/Chemicals Used:
- Hanbdtools (shovels, Rakes, Hand Trimmers, LeafBlowers, Weed Eaters, Etc)
- Work Trucks
- Bobcat Tractor (on-site training available)
- Ladders
- Poly line and basic sprinkler systems
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Position is in a busy golf/country club in a private residential community.
- Flexibility in schedule.
- Ability to lift up to 50-75lbs regularly; up to 100lbs occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull.
- Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time.
- Must be able to frequently walk, sit, stand, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop kneel, crouch, adjust vision accordingly (close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception)
- Exposed to outside weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, snow, and humidity.
- Continuous ability to talk and hear.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and far vision.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements for this position:
- Two years of High School or High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 2 years of driving experience for some positions
- Clean background check
- Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Organized, able to work in a busy environment where the priorities are changing.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks during busy times while working flexible hours with an enthusiastic personality.
- Must be reliable.
- Passion for serving guests.
- Must be self motivated with a a positive and professional attitude.
- Willingness ot learn and perform at a high level.
- Basic knowledge of concierge duties, country club and golf course operations is very helpful.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
