What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Toddler Preschool Teacher position at Forest Hill Church?
Do you love kids? Are you looking for a fun, flexible and supportive environment? If so, we'd love to have you join our team! We are a faith-based half-day preschool located in Fort Mill. We are looking for candidates for our new school year which begins in August (and ends in May). We have positions open for a toddler teacher that will work five days per week .
Previous experience is appreciated but if you love working with kids we can teach you the rest! We offer a great work environment, paid holiday and teacher work days and low student to teacher ratios.
Lead teachers are responsible for:
- Providing a Christ-centered, safe, engaging environment for children.
- Working with children in groups or one-on-one, depending on the needs of children and the subject matter
- Planning and carrying out a curriculum that targets different areas of child development, such as language, motor, and social skills
- Keeping records of the students’ progress, routines, and interests, and keeping parents informed about their child’s development
- Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with fellow staff, parents, and administration
