Job Description:
EliteCare Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Nurse RN specializing in Emergency Nursing to join our team in Bakersfield. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans for patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Meditech or similar electronic health record systems.
- Participate in emergency response procedures and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington or eligibility for licensure.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC; TNCC and NRP preferred.
- Experience in Emergency Nursing is preferred; charge experience is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Meditech or similar electronic health record systems.
