Job Summary:
Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Radiologic Technologist specializing in Diagnostic Imaging to join our team in Concord , CA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality imaging services and contribute to patient care across multiple campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for interpretation.
- Float between Concord and Walnut Creek campuses as needed, providing flexible support to the imaging departments.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, regulatory standards, and departmental policies.
- Document all procedures accurately in patient records and maintain imaging equipment according to established protocols.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Active California Radiologic Technologist license is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting is essential.
- Previous travel experience and familiarity with EPIC electronic health records is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
