Job Description
Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) unit in Hanford, California. This role is essential for providing high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from surgery or managing chronic illnesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients’ conditions, documenting any changes and responding appropriately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
