The Role:

We’re looking for a detail-obsessed, conversion-minded E-commerce Manager to own day-to-day store management and site performance on Shopify Plus. You’ll be the operator who ensures the site is fast, polished, accurate, and constantly improving—while partnering cross-functionally to launch products, optimize the customer journey, and drive revenue growth.

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a high-velocity environment, enjoys both strategic problem-solving and hands-on execution, and has a strong taste for clean merchandising, sharp copy, and seamless UX.

What You'll Own (Responsibilities):

Shopify Plus Store Management (Daily Operations)

  • Own the day-to-day health of the Shopify Plus storefront: site updates, merchandising, navigation, collections, PDPs, cart/checkout experience, and on-site promotions
  • QA every site change with rigor (mobile-first), ensuring a premium, error-free customer experience
  • Manage themes, templates, and on-site content updates in collaboration with design and creative
  • Coordinate with developers/partners on enhancements, bug fixes, and site releases

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Customer Journey

  • Continuously improve conversion through testing and iteration across PDPs, bundles, landing pages, cart/checkout, and upsells
  • Analyze funnel performance and customer behavior to identify drop-off points and prioritize improvements
  • Improve site speed, UX, merchandising logic, and on-site education to drive higher conversion and AOV

Product Launches Site Merchandising

  • Run end-to-end site-level product launches: launch calendars, PDP buildouts, copy, merchandising strategy, and on-site storytelling
  • Execute new product setup: SKUs, variants, pricing, tags/metafields, bundles, collections, and product education modules
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and scientific accuracy across copy, FAQs, and benefit messaging

Performance Reporting Insights

  • Track and report key KPIs (conversion rate, AOV, LTV, CAC payback support, funnel metrics, retention signals, merchandising performance)
  • Build actionable insights from data and translate them into clear weekly priorities and tests
  • Partner with marketing and growth teams to align site strategy with campaign goals and seasonal moments

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with creative, growth, product, CX, and operations to ensure seamless execution across the full customer journey
  • Ensure promotional campaigns are implemented correctly and on time (site-wide promos, landing pages, merchandising shifts)
  • Align customer messaging across site, email/SMS, and paid campaigns to improve continuity and conversion

What We're Looking For (Qualifications)

  • 3 years of e-commerce experience, ideally in DTC consumer brands (apparel/wellness a plus)
  • Strong experience managing a Shopify / Shopify Plus storefront: operations, merchandising, and optimization
  • Analytical and hypothesis-driven: comfortable interpreting site performance and turning insights into action
  • Excellent written communication and copy instincts (especially PDP/landing page clarity and persuasion)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; you can run multiple priorities without dropping details
  • High accountability and ownership mindset—proactive, structured, and fast-moving
  • Comfortable learning and communicating technical, science-based product benefits
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred

Bonus Points

  • Experience with CRO testing frameworks and experimentation roadmaps
  • Familiarity with subscription flows, bundles, upsells, and post-purchase optimization
  • Experience coordinating with developers and working in a release/QA cadence
