Our core business, producing plastic resins and petrochemicals, takes place at three wholly-owned chemical manufacturing subsidiaries located in Delaware City, Delaware, Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Point Comfort, Texas.
I. POSITION OBJECTIVE
Responsible for the design, implementation, and management of IT service or infrastructure—including software, hardware, servers, and cybersecurity measures. Deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing IT services by applying industry best practices and aligning with departmental goals.
II. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
Security - Insure information systems and data are secure from threats, with effective recovery and contingency plans, monitor and analyze usage trends, through procedures, filters, monitors, and reports implemented in the department, and to make continued improvements to security.
Equipment Reliability - Provide Maintenance support to the Operating Unit which will enable the Unit to achieve smooth operation, manufacture high-quality products and avoid unscheduled process interruptions. This will be achieved by utilizing best practices, bench marking, planning, failure-root cause analysis, initiation and development of continuous improvement techniques, maintenance procedures, practices and processes.
Performance - Successful Maintenance performance will result in a reduction of unscheduled work and toward achieving 100% planned and scheduled maintenance activities. This includes communicating and working with Operations continuously to establish equipment criticality and providing standby equipment for critical equipment.
Cost Control - Manage Maintenance Unit costs as measured by Monthly Management Reports Analysis of cost deviations and causes of costs; initiation of cost efficiencies; identification of inefficiencies and recommendations to correct; analyze budget trends, develop and recommend budget requirements; control overtime to below 3%.
Collaboration - Integrate and utilize cross-functional Internal Contacts and External
Contact resources to impact Department goals and results optimally.
Project Management - Successfully coordinate project implementations while maintaining Cost control, project scheduling, and appropriate use of resources to ensure project deadlines are met. Oversee IT projects handled by the Department.
THM – Promote cleanliness and order through implementation of the Total House Keeping Maintenance program. Emphasize Nothing Touch Ground program and No Visual Pollution program. Maintain the plant like new condition.
III. QUALIFICATIONS
A. TECHNICAL JOB CRITERIA
1. Previous Related Experience Required
6 - 10 years’ work experience in designing, implementing, troubleshooting and administration of IT systems with 250 Users in information technology or related field, based on education.
2. Technical Skills Required To Perform This Job
High school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 10 years of direct job-related experience (Computer, Network and/or Server Administration) required. Associate’s degree with 8 years of direct job-related experience. Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of direct job-related experience preferred.
4. Other Certification/Training Required To Gain Function-Related Technical Knowledge
