Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Veterinary Technician to join our growing team and play a vital role in patient care.

As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll assist our veterinarians in providing top-notch medical care, handling both clinical and technical responsibilities. You’ll be hands-on with patients, support surgery prep, administer treatments, and educate clients on pet care and wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during exams, procedures, and surgeries
• Perform blood draws, IV catheter placements, and lab sample collection
• Monitor anesthesia and post-operative recovery of patients
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed
• Educate and communicate with clients on pet care and medical instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Ensure exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment are clean and stocked
• Provide compassionate care and handling of animals in all situations

Qualifications

• Veterinary Technician Certification (LVT, CVT, or RVT) preferred
• 1 year of experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital
• Proficient in animal handling, restraint, and basic clinical procedures
• Knowledge of veterinary software (e.g., AVImark) is a plus
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about animals and committed to excellent care
• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology preferred
