What are the responsibilities and job description for the Room Inspector position at Fort William Henry Corporation?
The Room Inspector is responsible for inspecting rooms after the room attendant has finished cleaning. Inspectors will make sure each room is dusted, vacuumed and the bathrooms are spotless and up to FWH standards. The inspector will need to make sure the rooms have all the amenities and the right amount of them in each room.
Salary: $17 per hour, incentive program based on performance, food and hotel discounts, 401k and other benefits.
Inspects cleanliness of rooms assigned by Head Housekeeper, including guest sleeping areas, bathrooms and additional areas of certain larger rooms/suites.
- Inspects readiness of rooms (as above) as to beds, guest amenities and printed materials.
- Directs Room Attendants to resolve cleanliness and readiness problems as necessary
- Re-inspects problem areas after room attendants have addressed problems
- Reports room status to Head Housekeeper
- Reports maintenance problems to Head Housekeeper
- Reports unusual room conditions to Head Housekeeper
