What are the responsibilities and job description for the SERVICE ATTENDANT position at Fort Worth Transportation Authority?
Trinity Metro has an immediate opening for a Service Attendant. The incumbent will service the buses, vans and company vehicles. The incumbent in this position will represent the Maintenance Department in a positive, customer friendly, respectful, honest and professional manner.
Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning equipment, vehicles, parking area and grounds
- Operating vehicle washing machines and vacuum cleaners
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Wiping dash boards and windows
- Dusting bus panels, cleaning tire rims, scrubbing back of bus, picking up trash, operating vehicles on the bus lot, and completing major cleaning, on monthly basis, of transit vehicles
- Other duties include fueling, steam cleaning seats, checking oil, transmission fluid, coolant and antifreeze, as needed; preparing oral and written reports of damages to vehicles, logging in mileage, and fuel counts.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Must have a valid driver license.
Must be able to work 6pm - 2am shift on various days Sunday - Saturday.
