- Position Summary: Under general supervision, builds custom pallets and skids to fit the dimensions of orders. Operates general hand tools. Keeps track of, and reports inventory needs.
- Experience working with hand tools.
- Builds custom pallets & skids per dimensions given from the assembly department.
- Keeps track of lumber and supply inventory.
- Reports lumber and supply need to supervisor.
- Performs occasional clean-up of area.
- Follows safety protocols.
- Operate forklift when needed.
- Support and follow company policies and procedures.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Construction experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety.
- Forklift certified.
- Must be comfortable working on your feet for 8 hours.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug screen.
- Work is performed in a production environment.
- Occasional exposure to industrial operations (temperatures, noise, moisture, moving machinery).
