Provide engineering support and technical assistance to all engineering customers, both internal and externalLead teams in problem solving and failure analysis using engineering analysis toolsDrive team to develop capable, cost effective manufacturing and assembly processes concurrent to product design activities to insure robust designs are deliveredInteract with Marketing, Sales, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Designers, Purchasing, and suppliers to meet the specifications and needs of the customer in the development of new, reliable products for the marketDevelop, lead, and actively participate in Design Reviews / DFM / DFA for new productsLead other team members in resolving multiple complex engineering problems simultaneously in a multiple team environmentMentor/Coach other team members in problem solving and engineeringContinuously improve processes, skills, team environment and tools necessary to achieve Moen’s product leadership strategyDevelop and identify intellectual property claims for Moen while working with project teamsCommunicate technical information (data, designs and updates) to a non-technical audience Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is requiredMinimum of 5 years of experience to include significant manufacturing exposure as well as product development experience is requiredExperience with International suppliers is preferredFluent in the use of 3-D CAD (Creo) and PC’sCandidate must be familiar in the following areas:Advanced Failure Analysis and scientific problem solvingFEA, FMEA, DOE, QFD, and DFMAUse of engineering principles. i.e. fluid, mechanical and thermalInterpretation of statistics related to manufacturing processes and part designCollaborative problem solving techniquesGeometric dimensioning and tolerancesAnalysis of component / assembly tolerance stack-up’sAbility and willingness to travel up to approximately 15% of the time, both domestically and internationallyAbility to effectively work with suppliers from different countries / culturesWritten and verbal communication skills for dealing with multiple levels of staff, customers and suppliersAdditional InformationAt Fortune Brands Innovations, we support the overall health and wellness of our associates by offering comprehensive, competitive benefits that prioritize all aspects of wellbeing and provide flexibility for our teammates’ unique needs.
