Forvia Hella is seeking our next great performance validation engineer to join our team. The primary function of this role is to improve current product performance for current and future radar based products. This individual will be joining a well established team.

Daily Responsibilities
- Assess and Improve radar performance in vehicle for customer defined feature set
- Identify calibration modifications to improve or adjust performance across carlines including all steps of development (testing, validation, and customer presentation)
- Calibration tuning for integration and fascia variation)
- Validate Cadenced software releases for vehicle performance content
- Develop and execute customized validation plan for each release
- Leverage vehicle testing and SiL methodology to conduct validation of all implemented changes
- Conduct in vehicle testing on our next gen sensors to support advanced technology development (part of our global cross-functional team)
- 3 years automotive engineering experience (ADAS Preferred, Radar ideal) Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Mechanical Engineering, or similar
- Knowledge of CAN, Vector Tools, Canoe, Automotive Ethernet, Linux (nice to have)
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Experience with product development process; in particular, experience in vehicle testing, data analysis, results reporting, issue resolution
- Background in software, calibrations, data acquisition tools and equipment.
