Position : Billing Agent

Core Responsibilities & Duties :

• Manage EDI downloads from customers
• Communicate with internal sales representatives and external agents to confirm shipment charges
• Review courier and agent invoices to verify accuracy, compile necessary documentation, and prepare for billing
• Process courier billing into the JSI invoicing system on a weekly basis
• Handle invoice adjustments as needed
• Maintain accurate records for future reference and follow-up procedures
• Evaluate current billing procedures and identify opportunities for improvement
• Deliver exceptional customer service through professional communication and prompt responses to billing and shipment inquiries
• Ensure customer profiles and established rates are accurate and up-to-date
• Provide coverage for team members during absences, as required
• Prepare and deliver invoice files to customers
• Compile and submit weekly invoices and related files to the accounting department
• Understand shipment tracking and notification procedures
• Foster a team-oriented environment and maintain a collaborative mindset
• Adhere to all company policies and standards
• Other duties as assigned
