Resident Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance, including seniors and people with disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by delivering personalized care in a respectful and dignified manner. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, ensuring resident rights are upheld, and fostering a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide personal care and support to individuals in a personal care home or group home setting.
• Ensure the dignity and rights of each resident are respected at all times.
• Lift and transfer residents safely using proper techniques and equipment.
• Support individuals with disabilities by implementing individualized care plans and promoting independence.
• Monitor residents’ health and well-being, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Engage residents in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior care or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of resident rights and the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring residents safely.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others lead fulfilling lives.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
