Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Specialist to join our team. As a Resident Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our residents. This position is responsible for assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring a clean and safe environment, and promoting the overall well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities
- Monitor and document changes in residents' behavior or health status
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for residents
- Maintain a clean and organized living space for residents
- Follow established care plans and protocols to ensure the highest quality of care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and social workers, to provide comprehensive care
- Provide support to residents with memory care needs or dementia-related conditions
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ADLs and experience providing direct support and care to individuals
- Familiarity with systems and protocols in nursing homes or assisted living facilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate nature and ability to provide emotional support to residents
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and strategies
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 24 per week
