What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Financial Strategist position at Fountainhead Advisors?
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and down-to-earth Associate Financial Strategist (AFS) to join the Fountainhead Team. The AFS will play a crucial role in onboarding clients, developing long term relationships, working with, supporting our Advisors, and continuing to grow and enhance existing client relationships.
In addition, you will gain access to practice infrastructure that supports client acquisition and business development for a growing team of senior advisors. The ideal candidate is interested in expanding their practice in a creative and forward-thinking environment located in our Warren, NJ office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for clients throughout the client lifecycle, including onboarding and processing new business.
- CRM Maintenance: Responsible for accuracy of client information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and utilizing the CRM for client task management.
- Prepare financial plans and review for accuracy. Develop investment proposals with our internal investment management team.
- Communicate the company’s comprehensive service offering and capabilities to clients.
- Maintain familiarity and be able to interface with custodial platforms such as Charles Schwab and Pontera.
- Project Assistance: Support the management team with various projects during downtime.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience (2 plus years) in a financial advisory or investment firm is preferred.
- Familiarity with custodial platforms such as Charles Schwab, or Portfolio Management Systems such as Orion, is a plus.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Proficient in MS Office 365.
- Mindset: A collaborative attitude, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting or a related field is preferred.
- Series 65 and Life/Health or obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Strong understanding of the financial industry.
