Retail Sales Associate - Home Furnishings

Fourth Interiors is a home furnishings store in Grandview that specializes in luxury home accessories, furniture, lighting, textiles and art. We are looking for a part-time sales associate with a passion for home decor and gifts. This person would be responsible for the end-to-end customer experience in store, including but not limited to:

• Greeting customers when they walk through the door
• Building rapport with customers through conversation and honest recommendations
• Making recommendations to customers for products that meet what they are looking for
• Ringing up sales and arranging for delivery or pick-up of the customer’s order if needed
• Assisting in maintaining the back stock room and monitoring inventory levels
• Collaborating with fellow team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized at all times

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma required
• At least 2 years experience in retail sales with a focus on home furnishings, home decor and/or gifts
• Preferred 3 years of customer service experience
• Proficient computer skills and point-of-sale software skills
• Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 – 28.5 per week
