Position Summary: Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to ensure the best quality product is produced. Position Responsibilities: Program the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to effectively measure different products Ensure the product passes certification test or process inspection. Prepare reports to describe studies and prepare documents and layouts. Always keep the equipment and the workstation clean for most accurate results. Perform project work, while adhering to deadlines, as required. Research and assist with procurement for items critical to quality. Support continual quality improvement projects. Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required: CMM certification; ZEISS & Calypso certification preferred Experience operating milling machine, surface grinder, drill press, hand tools and precision instruments Ability to read and understand blueprints Knowledge of standard metrology techniques and GD&T Ability to use Microsoft Office Experience working in ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 environment a plus Competencies: Customer Mindset: Exceptional customer experience is primary focus while performing job duties.
