Position Summary

The Head of Operations will be a pivotal leader, responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse and logistics operations while playing a key role in shaping company culture. This role requires a seasoned operations professional with a proven track record of scaling businesses, developing and improving processes, and delivering world-class results. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial thinker who thrives in a high-growth environment and is motivated by the opportunity to build and expand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Culture Building : Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Lead and inspire teams to perform at their best while aligning with the company’s vision and values.
  • Operations Management : Take total ownership of warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Strategic Growth : Oversee site selection and launch for new facilities as the company expands into additional markets. Plan and execute scaling strategies while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Process Development : Create, refine, and own operational processes to improve productivity, quality, and service levels.
  • Financial Management : Manage P&L, budgets, and financial performance metrics. Drive cost efficiency while achieving revenue and profitability goals.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving : Identify opportunities for improvement and bring actionable recommendations to elevate operations to a “world-class” standard.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with executive leadership, clients, and partners to ensure alignment on goals and strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required, MBA preferred.
  • Certifications such as Six Sigma and / or APICS are a plus.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and scaling teams while fostering a strong organizational culture.
  • Demonstrated success in managing P&L and strong financial acumen.
  • Hands-on e-commerce 3PL logistics experience, including comprehensive ownership of warehouse operations.
  • Skilled in developing, owning, and improving processes to achieve operational excellence.
  • Experience in growing businesses in a leadership role, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to take calculated risks for significant upside.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in site selection and operational launches.
