Job Overview: As a Videographer, Editor & Photographer you will work with the Creative Services Manager - Films & Executive Director of Creative Services to create visually stunning, engaging content for our clients. You will work on planning, preparing, and executing shoots with the Creative Services Manager - Films and clients alike. Given the nature of our production schedule, a sizable portion of your time will be spent in our Films office, assembling RAW footage and working with our editing team in all facets of post-production. In addition to duties as assigned.

Essential Expectations:

  • Independently shoot photos at client sites and in studio settings.
  • Manage and directly oversee a crew during Photo Shoots.
  • Plan, prepare, and manage (direct) shoots (Photo & Video).
  • Edit RAW images to the highest quality for client delivery.
  • Edit RAW Video to the highest quality for client delivery.
  • Frequently & Independently shoot video at client site and in studio settings.
  • Frequently Art direct shoots, developing treatments, shot lists, and other plans as-needed.
  • Collaborate with coworkers, stakeholders and clients to interpret and/or develop art direction and shoot plans.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Services Manager - Films to complete projects of high creative quality, on time, and within the project budget.
  • Utilizes industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout projects.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge Expectations
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Editing Tools: Must be proficient in Video Editing software including Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Davinci Resolve. Must have a basic understanding of Photo Editing and Design software including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Grip Skills: Must be able to effectively setup and maintain camera & support gear, lighting equipment, audio equipment, and sets.
  • Set Etiquette: Must display a professional appearance and attitude at all times on set. Must always operate in a safe manner.
  • Time Management Skills: Utilize excellent time management and project management skills to consistently meet deadlines, prioritize tasks appropriately and to communicate promptly if a task is not to be completed on time.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Must display the ability to effectively prioritize workload on multiple projects simultaneously and accept changes with short notice and tolerate frequent interruptions.
  • Critical Thinking Skills: Must display strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical capabilities when interacting with clients, managers, peers, and stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: must be able to listen carefully in order to accurately gather facts and figures from managers and stakeholders. Must also be able to clearly articulate the results of your work and present their findings in written reports.
  • Attention To Detail: Must pay strong attention to detail in order to be able to keep the information accurate and organized while utilizing skills and knowledge to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.
  • Willingness To Learn: Must be willing to learn, improve and refine skills. One’s ability to receive and implement constructive criticism is paramount to their success in this role.
  • Computer Literacy: Must be able to use computer-based tools to work efficiently and effectively. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Google Suites or related software.

Travel Expectations

  • Frequent travel to client sites may be required. Including out-of-state travel.

Education and Experience Expectations:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Minimum (3) years commercial photography experience.
  • Minimum (3) years commercial videography experience.
  • Minimum (3) years photo and video editing experience.

Physical Requirements:
Work to be conducted primarily in office and at a client location; however, some work may be conducted remotely via technology. This position requires work during the regular workweek as well as infrequent weekend work. This position will require some lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and long hours at a computer using a keyboard and mouse in addition to prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
