Adhesive Lamination Operator

We are seeking an Adhesive Lamination Operator for our First Quality Print & Packaging facility located in Anderson, SC. They are responsible for operating a machine in a safe, competent, efficient, and productive manner. Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities: Sets up adhesive laminator to customer specification. Performs operation, adjustments, and troubleshooting of adhesive laminator. Keeps log of production and downtime events. Measures and calibrates adhesive mixture to satisfy customer specification and run conditions. Runs efficiently to meet set standards and satisfy customer demand. Monitors automated machine analytics and records data relevant to quality process. Documents production output through use of computer data entry software. Installation, removal, and cleaning of adhesive application trolly as needed. Performs requisition of raw materials from warehouse staff and confirms material quality. Operates lifting hoist and powered industrial truck to move materials. Handles and stores laminated product for adhesive curing. Escalates mechanical issues and cooperates with maintenance team to complete repairs. Monitors cleanliness of area and maintains excellent housekeeping standard. Shares knowledge and assists in training team members. Reports food safety problems immediately to supervisor or a QA team member. Adherence to safety rules and use of proper safety equipment at all times. Follows necessary GMP and SQF guidelines and regulations. Performs other duties as needed. Education and experience requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of adhesive lamination experience, or relevant manufacturing experience. Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to collaborate and work in a team-oriented environment. Prior computer experience preferred. Work Environment: Noisy environment requiring hearing protection; manufacturing environment requiring safety shoes and safety glasses. Other PPE required based upon specific tasks. Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times. Physical Requirements: Walk/stand 100% of time during a 12-hour shift. Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling and squatting throughout shift. Occasional climbing and reaching Occasional reaching overhead during shift. Frequent pushing and pulling with arms and legs throughout shift Frequent lifting or carrying items/product. Constant use of hands Constant light and firm grasping with hands throughout shift. Operation of cranes, hoists, hand trucks and roll manipulators throughout shift. Daily sweeping and organizing floor and work area. Occasional climbing of steps. Balance required for some tasks.
