The Opportunity

The I&C Engineer position is an early career / new graduate position in our Mansfield, Massachusetts office within the Project Engineering organization in the I&C Unit. In this role you will be part of a team of engineers responsible for a broad range of activities including designing, implementing, and testing control system solutions for our nuclear customers in existing and new plant applications.

What You'll Do at Framatome

• Develop control system architecture solutions for nuclear power plant applications
• Design process control solutions using various system platforms and configurators such as Triconex, Foxboro DCS, Wonderware/Aveva, TXS
• Prepare detailed application, system, and hardware specifications based on project requirements
• Develop software design documents, requirement documentation, and test specifications
• Solve a range of straightforward problems, analyze solutions, and assess each using standard procedures
• Ensure compliance with government, organization, and customer engineering standards
• Participate in plant site work - start-up and commissioning

Who You Are

You are a new graduate or early career Engineer that is looking for an exciting opportunity to work in the nuclear industry in the Instrumentation and Controls Engineering group. You display positive and effective team interaction skills and value positive peer relationships. You have good written and oral communication skills, the ability to comprehend and convey detailed technical data, and you have good problem identification and resolution skills. You have completed a BS in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear Engineering, or a related engineering degree.

Our total rewards package

The range of base salary for the position is between $67,000 - $87,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
