WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT
- Linen Services Delivers clean linens to all areas of the hospital and ensures an adequate supply of linens is available.
- Area Maintenance Ensures the laundry department and laundry equipment are well maintained and at acceptable levels of cleanliness.
- Equipment Operation Operates washers, driers, and extractors and regulates machine processes, the volume of soap, detergent, water, bleach, starch, and other additives.
- Linen Services Sorts and counts articles removed from the dryers and folds, wraps or hangs them.
- Inventory Management Takes inventory counts of each unit assigned, marks laundry articles with identifying code numbers or names.
Qualifications
- Preferred High School Diploma / GED
- 1 year laundry experience Preferred
- Valid drivers licence and proof of insurance - Crawfordsville only - .
