What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Excellence Coordinator position at Franciscan Health?
WHAT WE NEED
Multi-tasking coordinators.
Part-time, 20 hours-per-week, benefit eligible.
Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Are you good at managing multiple projects at the same time? Do you have thorough analytical skills? Can you then compile that information into effective reports? Do you enjoy assisting others and making sure all details are in place? If so, we have a job that needs your skills.
As a Service Excellence Coordinator your role will be to coordinate the complaint and grievance process. In addition, you will also organize the Service Excellence Program and assist in internal and external service excellence initiatives for the ministry.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Coordinate the intake and distribution of complaints and grievances.
Monitor, document, & distribute messages on the Physician and Nurse’s comment lines and other internal comment lines.
Provide training for staff related to the complaint and grievance process through formal and informal education and training.
Create materials necessary for effective and timely training of staff and others.
Produce reports regarding complaint and grievances and patient satisfaction surveys and then distribute them to appropriate personnel.
Maintain knowledge of all essential operations of the Service Excellence Department and work with the manager to coordinate efforts.
Recognize inefficiencies and work with manager to correct.
Work with Cultural/Mission Coordinator to assure effective operation of interpreting requests.
Coordinate the intake and distribution of Service Excellence Employee Recognition awards.
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Interact professionally and effectively with internal and external customers.
Strong organizational skills and work independently.
