Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Infection Preventionist/Education Coordinator to join our team at Franciscan Ministries. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing infection prevention/control programs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and coordinating educational initiatives for new hires and ongoing staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain mentorship programs.
- Coordinate with nursing schools, colleges, and high schools for clinical programs.
- Develop and implement annual OSHA, JCAHO, and State/Federal required in-service training programs.
- Serve as the primary contact for infection control issues within the community.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- At least 3 years of clinical experience in nursing/long-term care.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
